Product Overview
ASTM A656 is a series of high-strength, low-alloy (HSLA) structural steel plates produced via thermomechanical controlled processing (TMCP) with microalloying elements like vanadium (V) and niobium (Nb). It is designed to provide excellent strength, formability, and weldability in the as-rolled condition, making it ideal for applications demanding lightweight design and high durability. The standard includes four grades based on minimum yield strength: 50, 60, 70, and 80 (corresponding to ksi).
